New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani made anti-India remarks at a US gurdwara in a now-viral video from 2024. Criticising Mayor Eric Adams' policies, Mamdani noted Adams' growing ties with PM Narendra Modi. "Adams has taken every opportunity to make life more expensive, all while supporting PM Modi and Indian government's approach to violence for our community," said Mamdani.
