It was recently revealed that the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival will not be held in 2025. However, a revamped version will be making its return in 2026. MAMI Mumbai Film Festival is organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image, and the promise is to return with a new logo and approach. It will, however, support independent cinema.
