Munir Ahmed, a mortuary attendant at Karnataka's Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS), has been arrested for allegedly taking unauthorised, nude photographs of deceased women. The matter escalated when the images began circulating on social media, prompting hospital authorities to file a police complaint. The Karnataka State Women's Commission had called for action after taking cognisance.
