A man charged with attempting to assassinate US President Donald Trump last year at his Florida golf course told a federal judge that he wants to fire his court-appointed lawyers and represent himself in the case. The 59-year-old man, Ryan Routh, pleaded not guilty to state charges of terrorism and attempted murder. He will go to trial in September.
