Man alleges Tinder charges ₹460 extra for users over 30, to get ₹555.7 crore to settle case

A man named Allan Candelore will get about $60.5 million (over ₹555.7 crore) after a California court granted preliminary approval to Tinder's settlement offer in a 10-year-old age-discrimination lawsuit. Candelore claimed in 2016 that Tinder charges $5 (about ₹460) extra for its premium tier for users aged above 30. "Penalising someone because of their age is unlawful," Candelore's lawyer said.
