A man has been fined ₹5 lakh by the Supreme Court after he approached the top court for ban on sale of Coca-Cola and Thums Up. SC said the petitioner had "no technical knowledge on the subject". It added that his counsel failed to disclose "why two specific brands in particular were chosen to be target of the proceedings".
