A man named Prashant Bankar, who was arrested after a doctor died by alleged suicide in Maharashtra's Satara, was in a relationship with her, police said. Bankar was identified as the son of the landlord of the house where the victim lived. She alleged Bankar harassed her for five months and accused a sub-inspector, Gopal Badane, of repeatedly raping her.
