Man arrested for ₹11 lakh online trading fraud in Panchkula

Panchkula police arrested Gurvinder Singh, a Mohali resident, for allegedly facilitating a ₹11-lakh cyber fraud. A woman was lured via WhatsApp with work-from-home and high-return trading promises. She transferred funds across accounts and the app later stopped working. Singh allegedly provided his firm's bank account to fraudsters for a commission. He is in five-day police custody.
