A 26-year-old man was arrested at the Boston Logan International Airport, US, for carrying "vampire straw". The police said that the 10-inch-long titanium straw with a bevelled end was a "dangerous weapon". The company behind the straw, which can also be used to slurp down drinks, calls it a self-defence weapon since it can be used like a dagger.
