Man arrested for using children to peddle drugs in Kapurthala

A drug peddler arrested in Kapurthala allegedly gave heroin to two brothers, aged 13 and 10, to get them hooked on drugs and use them to sell narcotics. Police acted after a video of the elder boy consuming drugs went viral. Both children, whose family struggles with poverty, have been admitted to a de-addiction centre for treatment and rehabilitation.
