Shashank Singh, who runs the popular 'Befitting Facts' X handle, was arrested in West Bengal at 1 am, several reports said. Earlier, a TMC official filed a case against him, alleging he was spreading fake news about MP Mahua Moitra smoking a vape in the Parliament. The handle had also criticised TMC for the chaos at Lionel Messi's Kolkata event.
