In 1995, Tulsi Tanti started Suzlon energy to handle everything from installation to output of the wind turbines. By 2008, Suzlon touched revenues of Rs 13,679 CR and became India's largest renewable energy company. But, Suzlon had piled a debt of 17,000 CR after a failed acquisition. Tanti turned around things and got the debt to 1180 CR today.
