Investigators have alleged that a 24-year-old man, Suraj Bhaskar, in UP's Jaunpur amputated his own foot to try and secure PwD certificate to get disability-related concessions in MBBS course admission under NEET. Police said Suraj had filed a complaint that he was assaulted and his foot was amputated, however, police later discovered he tried to mislead them.
