A UP-based man lost thousands of rupees instantly after clicking on a malicious link he received on his WhatsApp. Dr Omprakash Chauhan claimed he completely lost control of his phone the moment he clicked the link, disguised as wedding invitation. Notably, scammers are sending fake wedding invitation links, disguised as APK files, on WhatsApp to hack phones and steal money.
