Man convicted for burning Australian missionary alive released after 25 yrs in Odisha

Mahendra Hembram, who was convicted for his role in the death by burning of Australian missionary Graham Staines and his sons, was released after spending 25 years in prison on account of good behaviour from Odisha's Keonjhar jail. Hembram was garlanded and he said he was wrongfully implicated as he opposed religious conversion and cow slaughter. VHP welcomed his release.
