A man working as a lumberjack from Czechia cut off his penis and both ears and severely injured himself during a drug-induced psychotic episode. According to the doctors who treated him, the 31-year-old patient with schizophrenia got overwhelmed after consuming large quantities of kratom, an herbal supplement that has opioid-like properties and some stimulant-like aftereffects.
