A 50-year-old builder was diagnosed with hepatitis C after consuming five energy drinks per day for three weeks, several reports said. The doctors diagnosed the builder after he complained of feeling unwell and abdominal pain, and had also developed jaundice. High quantity of niacin (vitamin B3), due to the overdosing of energy drinks, was blamed for the man's liver inflammation.
