A man arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act managed to escape from police custody in the Badhni Kalan area of Moga, Punjab, by breaking through the roof of the station's lock-up. The accused, identified as Harpreet Singh, a resident of Rauke Road, Badhni Kalan, was arrested by the police on December 17 near Lopo village.
