Man extracts ₹26-lakh gold from 2-tonne scrap, triggers buying rush for old SIM cards in China

A man in China's Guangdong shared a video showing how he extracted 191 grams of gold worth ₹26.35 lakh from two tonnes of scrap, including discarded SIM cards and telecom chips. The man, named "Qiao", used chemical reactions like corrosion and displacement for extraction. As people hailed him as "Alchemist", many rushed to buy discarded SIM cards to extract gold.
