Man held weeks after attacking wife in Aruvikkara

Police arrested Ranjith, 40, weeks after he allegedly attacked his wife with a knife and tried to burn her and their daughter alive in Aruvikkara. Police said Ranjith, who was allegedly drunk, poured petrol on them before chasing the fleeing mother and daughter and stabbing his wife in the neck. He was arrested from a lodge in Thiruvalla.
