Uttar Pradesh's Maninder Singh, through his startup CleanEffentech, is converting Srinagar’s iconic Dal Lake's 70,000 tonnes of weeds every year into high-quality, organic manure. It has set up a first-of-its-kind processing plant near Dal Lake, and in just over two years, more than 4,400 acres of land in Kashmir have been enriched. Over 2,500 farmers are using this eco-friendly alternative.
