In Morena, Madhya Pradesh, 25-year-old widow Priyanka Gurjar was fatally shot by her father-in-law, ex-army man Gyan Singh, after she refused to remarry within the family. The incident occurred near Sikroda canal late Wednesday. Gyan Singh fled the scene while police have registered a murder case and launched a manhunt.
