A man allegedly murdered his 24-year-old girlfriend and her mother in Virar West after they rejected his marriage proposal. The accused, identified as Shivam Upadhyay, later attempted self-harm. Neighbours alerted police after hearing screams, and Bolinj Police have launched a double murder investigation into the incident.
