Man loses ₹1.2 cr saved for daughter's wedding in 'digital arrest' scam

A man in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj allegedly lost ₹1.20 crore in cyber fraud after criminals posed as CBI officers and kept him under "digital arrest" for nearly two months. The victim, Gautam Chandra Das, told police he had saved the money for his daughter’s wedding. The criminals kept him on video calls and staged a fake virtual courtroom.
