A 59-year-old man lost ₹2.49 lakh to delivery scam in Hyderabad. The victim, who was expecting a courier, received an SMS from unknown mobile number asking for a delivery charge of ₹25 via link. On clicking the link and entering OTP, an unauthorised transaction of ₹2.49 lakh was processed from his credit card. The man later filed a police complaint.
