In a shocking case, a 31-year-old man from Florida was forced to get his nose removed after he contracted a deadly fungal infection that began affecting his entire face. Brandon Boothby said he was diagnosed with a flu-like condition which has an instance of two in a million and it leaves sufferers with low immunity to fight off serious infections.
