A man alleges a ₹5,000 advance led to six months of bonded labour at a brick kiln in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. He, along with his pregnant wife and young children was forced to work without wages. His repeated escape attempts failed due to surveillance. Though he has received a release certificate from the government, he is yet to receive compensation.
