Thane Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed a case against a man for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹2 lakh from a person to save them from arrest in a kidnapping case, an official said. The man demanded money on behalf of public servants from the person who was accused of kidnapping over a monetary dispute, Thane ACB DSP Ashwini Patil said.
