A Telangana court on Thursday sentenced a 26-year-old man to life imprisonment and imposed a ₹100 fine on him for murdering his father. The convict was in an inebriated state when he repeatedly hit his father with a cement slab for refusing to give him money for alcohol, police said. The case was registered in 2016 following his family's complaint.
