A love affair turned violent in UP's Aligarh after 32-year-old Vedpal was shot inside hospital. Police said the attack is linked to his relationship with a woman whose family opposed their marriage. Despite her wedding elsewhere, he stayed in touch, leading to threats, a prior assault and finally the shooting. One accused is arrested, two, including a constable, remain absconding.
