A woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her father, Satya Kumar Chauhan, after she married a Dalit man against family's wishes. The incident took place during counselling session inside UP's Badousa police station. The police had called parents of victim, Shivani Chauhan, for discussions and counselling. During the interaction, victim said that she wanted to stay with her husband.
