Man suffers major stroke after a sneeze ruptures neck artery

A 35-year-old man suffered an almost fatal stroke when an artery ruptured in his neck caused by a sneeze. Ian Applegate was diagnosed with vertebral artery dissection, a tear in one or more tissue layers that make up your vertebral artery. "The whole left side of my body had gone numb; I knew I was having a stroke," he said.
