A man allegedly tried to damage a statue of Dr BR Ambedkar by throwing a stone and a flower pot at it in Punjab's Jalandhar district. The man was arrested after the incident took place on Monday. CM Charanjit Singh Channi said it was a very unfortunate incident that has bruised the psyche of people who respect Ambedkar.
