A man has claimed he used 99 second-hand smartphones to create a fake traffic jam on Google Maps. Simon Weckert loaded the phones in a handcart and took them out on a street outside Google's Berlin office with navigation on. Misreading the number of slow-moving phones as slow-moving cars, Google Maps changed street colour to red, denoting a traffic jam.
