Man who built automation firm now Japan's richest person with $38 billion wealth

Takemitsu Takizaki, the 76-year-old founder of automation sensor manufacturer Keyence Corp, has overtaken Uniqlo billionaire Tadashi Yanai to become Japan's richest person. Takizaki's fortune has risen to $38.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, after his company's shares almost doubled from the start of 2020 through Monday's close. Yanai has a net worth of $35.5 billion.
