A man who impaled his head on an over 15-inch-long metal rod through his mouth has survived after a 10-hour-long surgery at a hospital in China, South China Morning Post reported. The rod reportedly pierced through the roof of the man's mouth after he fell on a table while in an intoxicated condition. He was discharged after a month.
