Jitendra Pathak, alias Viraj, who had killed an 18-month-old toddler by repeatedly slamming him to the ground to marry his mother in UP's Firozabad, was sentenced to death, the government's lawyer said. Firozabad District and Sessions Court convicted him in a record-breaking 41 days. The crime was caught on CCTV, and Pathak was arrested after police shot at him.
