Man who sold ancestral land for ₹8 crore wins tax relief case

A Panchkula-based man who sold ancestral agricultural land for ₹8 crore in 2017 and claimed ₹6.36 crore in tax exemptions has won a case before the ITAT Chandigarh. The tribunal allowed his claims under Sections 54B and 54F after physical verification confirmed his reinvestments and found that one disputed property was being used commercially.
