Man who threatened bomb blast during India-Pakistan World Cup match arrested in Gujarat

Karan Mavi, a 29-year-old man from Gujarat's Rajkot district, has been arrested for sending an email threatening bomb blast at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during India-Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 match scheduled for October 14. The accused has been booked for criminal intimidation under provisions of Indian Penal Code. Mavi had sent an email to BCCI on October 9.
