Enforcement Directorate said it has frozen assets worth ₹143 crore of Kerala-based Manappuram Finance's MD and CEO VP Nandakumar after it conducted raids under a money laundering probe. A total of six premises in Thrissur, where the company is headquartered, were raided during searches that began on Wednesday. Case pertains to money laundering through "illegal" deposit collection from public.
