Heavy rainfall washed away the temporary road at Ambadabettu on the Ujire-Guripalla Road in Mangaluru, disrupting connectivity for thousands of residents. Commuters are now forced to take long alternative routes until the new bridge is completed. The temporary road had also been washed away earlier this month, despite safety restrictions on its use.
