Mango prices in key states including Uttar Pradesh, which is the largest producer, have decreased by 33% compared to last year amid its record harvest. Mango's famed Dasehri variety now sells for ₹40-45 per kg, down from ₹60/kg last year. Production in Uttar Pradesh soared to 35 lakh metric tonnes this season, up from 25 lakh tonnes in 2024.
