Manika Batra on Saturday created history by becoming the first-ever Indian woman table tennis player to win a medal at Asian Cup. The 27-year-old defeated world number six and three-time Asian champion Hina Hayata of Japan 4-2 in the bronze medal match. Manika won the match with a scoreline of 11-6, 6-11, 11-7, 12-10, 4-11, 11-2.
