Following the demise of Nagaland Governor La Ganesan, President of India Droupadi Murmu on Saturday appointed Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla to discharge the functions of the Governor of Nagaland, in addition to his own duties. Ganesan passed away at the age of 80 on Friday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai, NDTV reported.
