The Manipur government on Tuesday issued an order to close all schools in the state with immediate effect due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 cases. The schools will remain closed till July 24, 2022. This comes as 59 people in Manipur tested positive for the virus on Tuesday and the test positivity ratio crossed the 15% mark.
