Actor Manoj Kumar, who passed away at the age of 87, donated the entire amount he received for National Award for his 1965 film 'Shaheed' to Bhagat Singh’s family. "Awards do give any creative person a sense of satisfaction. I'm happy that government has at last rewarded my work," he said. Kumar won National Award for Shaheed as a scriptwriter.
