Manpreet Kaur wins shot put bronze with 17.17-metre throw at Asian Games

India's 36-year-old shot-putter Manpreet Kaur won bronze medal in women's shot put event at Asian Games 2026. Manpreet finished third in final with a best throw of 17.17 metres. Olympic bronze medallist Song Jiayuan of China bagged gold medal in the event with a best throw of 19.40 metres. India have won 21 medals at Asian Games 2026 so far.
