Maoist leader kills his commander for planning to surrender in Odisha

A wanted Maoist leader, identified as Sukru, allegedly killed his commander, Anwesh, in Odisha's Kandhamal district because he was planning to surrender to the police, police said. Anwesh's decomposed body was found buried in the forest and was later exhumed by the police. The killing highlights internal conflict within Maoist outfits over surrendering, officials said.
