Marathi actor Mahesh Pawar and four of his childhood friends died in a tragic accident in Maharashtra's Ambenali Ghat, which claimed the lives of eight people. The group's vehicle reportedly fell over 1,500 feet into the deep valley at one of the most dangerous stretches between Raigad and Satara districts. The rescue teams recovered their bodies in a 22-hour-long operation.
