Marathi film and theatre actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar, aged 79, passed away on Tuesday from coronavirus in Maharashtra's Satara, actress Renuka Shahane said. Reportedly, Wabgaonkar contracted the virus a week ago while shooting for a TV show and was in a critical condition. The actress had worked in over 100 plays, TV series and films including 'Namak Halaal', 'Zanjeer' and 'Shaukeen'.
